Privacy Policy
- No account and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your game progress stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. We can't read it.
- The game shows optional ads through Google AdMob and its partner ad networks, who receive device identifiers and information about the ads you see.
- We use analytics and crash reports to improve the game. They never include your name, messages or precise location.
- You can turn tracking off at any time in iOS Settings, and the game works exactly the same.
1. Who we are
Wonder Builder is made by Polls for Messages, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at support@wonderbuilderapp.com.
We don't run any servers of our own. Nothing you do in the game is sent to a system we operate. The data described below goes only to Apple and to the service providers and advertising partners named on this page.
2. What stays on your device
- Your save. Progress is saved on your iPhone and copied to iCloud key-value storage under your Apple Account so it can follow you to a new device. Apple stores it; we have no access to it.
- Settings. Sound, volume, haptics, tutorial progress, and the times you usually play (used to time a daily reminder) are kept on your device.
- Your birth year. When you first open the game we ask the year you were born, so we can show age-appropriate ads. The year stays on your device. If you're 13 or over, only that fact (the age band "13 and over") is sent to our analytics provider. If you're under 13, or haven't answered yet, the game sends no analytics at all.
- Notifications. Reminders such as "your stage is done" are scheduled on your device by iOS. No notification server is involved.
3. What is collected, and why
| Data | Why | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifiers: the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking, the identifier for vendor (IDFV), and analytics and installation identifiers created by the SDKs | Serving and measuring ads, preventing ad fraud, counting players and sessions | Advertising partners; Google (Firebase) |
| How you play: progress, upgrades, tutorial steps, sessions, and whether you accepted notification or tracking prompts | Understanding what's fun and what's too hard, and fixing problems | Google (Firebase Analytics) |
| Advertising data: which optional ads were offered, watched or skipped, the ad network, and ad revenue | Showing and measuring ads; keeping the game free | Advertising partners; Google (Firebase Analytics) |
| Purchase records: which item, price, currency and Apple's anonymous transaction number | Confirming purchases and handling refunds | Apple; Google (Firebase Analytics) |
| Diagnostics: crash reports, performance, whether a save loaded or the device clock jumped | Keeping the game stable and your progress safe | Google (Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics); advertising partners |
| Device and network details: device model, iOS version, language, IP address, and an approximate region derived from it | Delivering the game's live settings and ads, and regional reports | Advertising partners; Google (Firebase) |
| Age band (under 13, or 13 and over) | Showing age-appropriate ads | Google (Firebase Analytics, "13 and over" only); advertising partners (as a setting that turns off personalised ads) |
We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, messages or precise location. The game doesn't use GPS or location services.
Where the law of your country requires a legal basis (for example in the EEA and the UK), we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the game for analytics and diagnostics, on your consent for personalised advertising, and on our contract with you for purchases.
4. Advertising partners
The game is free because of optional ads you choose to watch, plus occasional full-screen ads between builds for players 13 and over after their second day. Ads are chosen and delivered by Google AdMob, which works with the ad networks listed below.
These partners may receive the advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), the identifier for vendor, your IP address, device details and information about the ads you see and tap. They use it to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, and measure results, including through Apple's SKAdNetwork. If you allow tracking, they may also use it to show ads more relevant to you.

| Google AdMob | policy |
Google uses information from apps that show its ads as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can learn more about Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
We update this list when partners change.
5. Analytics and crash reporting
We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Remote Config) to understand how the game is played and to adjust game balance without an update, and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports. They process this data on our behalf. Firebase Analytics doesn't use the advertising identifier, and it is switched off for players under 13 and for anyone who hasn't answered the age question. Crash reports are collected for every player because they keep the game working; they contain the crash details, the device model and iOS version and an installation identifier, never your name or the advertising identifier. Our AdMob account is linked to Firebase so that ad impressions and ad revenue show up next to our game analytics; this lets us see which optional ads players find worth watching. We don't use our analytics to build advertising audiences or to personalise ads. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. See Firebase's privacy information and Google's privacy policy.
6. Tracking and your choices
After your first stage is built, iOS may ask whether Wonder Builder can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. Saying no changes nothing in the game: every reward, ad and purchase works the same. We never reward you for saying yes. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Players under 13 are never asked. They see only non-personalised ads and no full-screen ads between builds.
Where the law requires it, for example in the EEA and the UK, the game shows Google's consent form and asks for your consent before ads are personalised. You can change your answer later from the game's Settings.
7. Purchases
Purchases such as the Patron Pass and the Builder's Club subscription are handled by Apple. We receive a record of what was bought, the price and Apple's anonymous transaction number. We never see your payment details. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, and request refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
8. Children
Wonder Builder is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13. We use the age question at first launch to treat younger players differently: no tracking prompt, non-personalised ads only, no full-screen ads between builds, and no analytics. Their ad requests are marked as coming from a child, so Google AdMob serves them only from ad networks certified under Google's Families policy. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what's described here. If you're a parent and have a question, email us at support@wonderbuilderapp.com.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, delete, correct or object to the use of your personal data, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. Because there are no accounts, we can't look you up by name. Email us at support@wonderbuilderapp.com and we'll explain what we can do, help you reach our partners' own tools, and answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting the app removes the game's data from your device. The copy of your save in iCloud is stored by Apple in your iCloud account; email us if you'd like help removing it.
10. Security and international transfers
All data the game sends travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our service providers and advertising partners may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, described in their own privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the game.
